Joseph Olmsted was the son of Capt James Olmsted and Phebe Barlow. Joseph Olmsted was born on 10-Mar-1676/77 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He married Mehitable Warner, daughter of Robert Warner and Elizabeth Grant, circa 1700 at Of, Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Joseph Olmsted married (Unknown) (Unknown) circa 1714. Joseph Olmsted was also known as Joseph Olmstead. He sold land 4 acres at Norwall to Joseph Monroe and he refrenced himsef as the father-in-law of Joseph Monroe on 3-Nov-1720 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He sold land land at Norwalk to Jojn Munroe of "New Bristol" in the County of Bristol Massachussett Bay on 13-Feb-1726/27 at Norwalk, Fairfield County, Connecticut. He left a will on 27-Jan-1748.
