Notes for Paul Edwin HOOPES
Paul E. Hoopes, Sr., 98, of West Chester, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford.
He was the husband of the late Margaret “Peggy” Leslie Hoopes, with whom he shared 71 years of marriage before she passed away in 2013.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George and Mary Hoopes.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of West Chester and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Paul is survived by his children, Pamela J. Leonhard and her husband, Allen, Sandra L. Jones and her husband, Charles, P. Edwin Hoopes Jr. and his wife, Lisa; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings.
Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery.
