Notes for Raymond Lewis BRACKIN

Ray L. Brackin of Landenberg Ray L. Brackin, 64, of Landenberg, died this week at his home. Born in West Chester, he was a son of Mildred Lane Brackin, who lives in Landenberg and the late Robert E. Brackin. Ray served our country in the Navy as a "Navy SeaBee" during the Vietnam War. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He was an avid hunter and Bluegrass musician. He was a member of the Red Oak and Wickerton hunting camps. Survivors include, in addition to his mother; two daughters, Cathleen M. Brackin of Wilmington, Del. and Stephanie L Dasaro and her husband Robert of Waitsfield, Vt.; two grandchildren, Sophie and Brennen; and five brothers and sisters, Robert (Judy) of West Grove, Bonnie of Phoenixville, Richard (Linda) of Landenberg, Nancy Waugh (Dennis) of Lincoln University and Dave of Oxford. Interment will be held privately in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
