Physilla (Pat) Thornton Eastburn, 88, of Hot Springs, died Friday September 09, 2011 in a local hospital.
Pat was born Nov. 22, 1922 to Willie (Bill) & Gertrude Efird Thornton. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 43 years, John S. Eastburn; sister, Madaline Thornton Hicks & husband Lee; two brothers, Loyal A. Thornton & Dayton A. Thornton & his wife, Bertha Porter Thornton.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Amanda Fullbright of Memphis, TN.; one son, Billy Thornton Purcell of Millington, TN.; one stepson, Gary Eastburn & his wife, Kay of Minnetrista, MN.; one sister, Louise Thornton Sewell & her husband Charles of Sulpher Springs, TX.; one sister-in-law (Mrs. Loyal) Christiana Thornton of Hot Springs; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Edwards McCune & her husband, Tom of Collierville, TN.; one great granddaughter, Emily Camille McCune of Collierville, TN.; two nieces, Ginger Blaine Worthington of Coppell, TX.; & Theresa Thornton Bullock of Hot Springs; three step granddaughters, Michelle Eastburn Larson & her husband, Dan of Portland, OR., Emily Eastburn Millard & her husband Chris of New Prague, MN. & Julie Eastburn Katz & her husband Louis of Chanhassen, MN.; two step grandsons, Jeff Kunze & his wife, Dawn of Hanover, MN. & Kevin Kunze & his wife, Elizabeth of Excelsior, MN.; special friends, Betty Davis of Russell, Iowa, Betty Faye of Hot Springs, Angelia Althoff of Eden Prarie, MN., Virginia Kelly of Hot Springs, Nancy Mory of Hot Springs & Fran Lindsey of Hot Springs.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday September 12, 2011 at Gross Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Garland County P.O. Box 1484 Hot Springs, AR. 71902 or Area Agency on Aging or Meals on Wheels.
