John Stockdale Eastburn, 86, of Hot Springs, died We dnesday, March 12, 2008, in a local hospital. Born Oct. 31, 1921, in New Hope, Penn., to John Stockdale Eastburn Sr. and Mae Mills Eastburn, he was a 50-year Mason. He was predeceased by a sister, Marion Satterthwaite.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Physilla Thornton Eastburn; son and daughterin-law, Gary and Kay Eastburn; stepson, Billy Purcell; stepdaughter, Patricia Fullbright; sister, Martha De-Coursey; three grandchildren, Michelle Eastburn, Emily Millard and husband, Chris, Julie Katz and husband, Louis; one stepgrandchild, Elizabeth McCune and husband, Tom; three great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; his beloved pet, "Boomer"; and many friends.
