Karl W. Thompson, 70, a former financial administrator for RCA, died of a stroke yesterday at his Marlton home.

Mr. Thompson had lived in Marlton for 21 years, and he was born in Philadelphia.

He retired from RCA in Camden in 1989.

Mr. Thompson graduated summa cum laude with a degree in business administration from Drexel University in 1960. He also attended Syracuse University.

He was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Veronica Schermak Thompson; sons Karl W. and Keith D.; a daughter, Heidi L. Thompson-Novasitis; three grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister.
