Notes for Margaret Dulty SMITH
Margaret Smith Dorrance, 80, a homemaker who served with the American Red Cross overseas during World War II, died of heart and lung failure Thursday at Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square. She formerly lived in Haverford.
Mrs. Dorrance served two years in the Mediterranean theater, primarily in Italy, with the Red Cross during the war. She attended Agnes Irwin School and enjoyed gardening, golf and ice skating. She was a member of several professional and social organizations.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur C. 3d and Bradford; a brother; a sister; and seven grandchildren.
