Notes for Richard H. FADDIS
Richard H. Faddis, 80, of Lititz, formerly of Exton, died Wednesday at home of natural causes.
A Lititz resident for the last 12 years, he had lived in Exton most of his life.
Faddis retired in 1978 as a supervisor for Philadephia Electric Co. after 41 years.
A World War II veteran, he served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Exton.
He had played AA baseball in West Chester and Honey Brook and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and woodworking.
Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Elwood G. and May Austin Faddis.
He was married to Helen Stahlman Faddis for 58 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Richard E. of Glenmoore; two daughters, Sara H. Faddis of Pembrooke Pines, Fla., and Martha F. White of Stevens; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Elwood G. Jr. of West Chester; and three sisters, Pauline Hickman of Hollywood, Fla., Grace Ayers of Glenmoore and Ida Jean Nichols of Honey Brook.
