Notes for David H. LIGHT

David H. Light, 91, formerly of Cochranville, died of natural causes Monday at Jenner's Pod, West Grove.
Light owned and ran the family century farm. He also drove a school bus for Octorara School District for 43 years.
A 77-year member of Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church, he served as a deacon and sexton.
He also served on the Octorara Area School Board and was board president for eight years.
A Mason, he belonged to Skerrett Masonic Lodge 343 and Fernwood Grange, both of Cochranville.
Born in Chester County, he was the son of the late R. Leroy and Mary Spencer Light.
He was married 67 years to Annabelle Dietz Light.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann, married to George Homer of Lancaster, and Margaret Louise Shank of Downingtown; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Read of Wilmington, Del.
