Notes for William Berchell III BRICE

William Berchell Brice III of West Chester William Berchell Brice, III, 80, of West Chester, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Mary Ann Dunn Brice. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late William Berchell Brice, Jr. and the late Mildred Fowler Brice. He was the first Chief of Police of Uwchlan Township and later retired from Wyeth Labs. He was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester. He was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge 11 of West Chester, the V.F.W. Post 106 of West Chester, and the American Legion Post 134 of West Chester. He built computers for a hobby. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, William B. Brice, IV of West Chester, Valerie B. (Joe) DeMarino of West Chester, Jeffrey A. (Maria) Brice of Downingtown, Richard A. Brice of West Chester, Joseph P. (Nicole) Brice of Downingtown, and Alan C. Brice of West Chester; five grandchildren; and brother, Robert A. (Mary Ellen) Brice of West Chester. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a son, Bryan R. Brice, and siblings, Barbara, Jim, Beverly and Alan. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Ceremony, 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com, where visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Interment will be held in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester.
