Speedy Fejock Killed by Train Age 40 Years
Speedy FEIOCK, 4Oyears old, was hit by a freight train Sunday morning early, as he was walking on the track just north of Pekin, and near his home on the Doss Souders farm, where he had moved two weeks ago.
Just how the accident occured is unknown. It was almost 3:30 A.M and the engineer was unaware that his engine had hit anyone until he noticed Feiock hurled past the cab. He was picked up unconcious and taken on the train to Pekin and left at Dr. Green's office, and his wife called. He only lived about a hour.
Besides his wife, he is survived by seven daughters, all at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Feiock, four brothers, Casper, of New Albany, Wilbur arid James, of Palmyra, and Spurgeon of Akron, Ohio. and two sisters, Mrs. Ora EVALINE and Mrs. Lucretia LOVE of Palmyra. A son preceded him in death a number of years ago.
