Notes for Margaret Ann SUPPLEE

Peggy Supplee Sepella, 78, a lifelong West Chester resident and a former school librarian, died yesterday at Barclay Friends.

She was the wife of John Sepella, to whom she was married for 54 years.

She was born in East Goshen. She graduated from West Chester High School in 1940 and from West Chester University in 1944. She later received a master's degree in library science from Villanova University. She went on to become the librarian at Mary C. Howse Elementary School in the West Chester Area School District, where she worked for 20 years until her retirement in 1981.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in West Chester for 65 years, serving as the superintendent of the church's Sunday school program for several years.

She also was a member of the Goshen Grange No. 121, the Chester County Pomona Grange, the Pennsylvania State Grange, Chester County Historical Society, West Chester Bird Club and West Chester University Alumnae Association, and was a lifetime member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Sepella is survived by sons J. Todd and Earl; a grandson; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 130 W. Miner St., West Chester. Friends may call at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church. 130 W. Miner St., West Chester, Pa. 19382.
