Deborah A. Hamilton, 70, of Honey Brook, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.
She was the wife of Edward M. Hamilton.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Harry G. Young and the late Helen Newman Young.
Deborah graduated from Unionville High School, Class of 1960.
She was a retired recorder of deeds for Chester County, serving for 20 years.
Deborah was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 825 of Downingtown.
She enjoyed RVing. She was a social and outgoing person who loved people.
In addition to her husband, Deborah is survived by her daughters, Tracy L. Hamilton, partner of Sandra Bowman of West Chester, and Lauren E. Murphy, wife of Christopher of Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren, Samantha H. Murphy, Desmond T.E. Murphy, Andrew F. Bowman and Jason E. Bowman; and sisters, Hannah A. Ruggiero of Kennett Square and Harriett Tupitza of Coatesville.
