Notes for Edward Byron Jr. ASHBRIDGE
Edward B. Ashbridge Sr., a retired painter and paperhanger, died Friday. He was 85 and lived in Wallingford, Delaware County.
Ashbridge, who had lived in Wallingford for the past 30 years, was a member of Penn Lodge 709, F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, the former Helen J. Wright; two sons, Edward B. Jr. and Robert J.; three daughters, Viola Showalter Phippin; Jean Robertson and Roberta Graves; two sisters, Margaret Funk and Ethel Jeffries; four brothers, Horace, Earl, Charles and Clifford; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where friends may call after 7 tomorrow night. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Delaware County.
