Notes for David Wayne EACHUS

David Wayne Eachus
Age 55, of Aston, PA passed away in the early morning hours of May 31, 2013 at his home on Kirk Road in Concord Township. Born on June 6, 1957 at Chester Hospital in Chester, PA. to the late Preston Eachus and Dorothy Mae Walker Eachus, he was a longtime Concord Twp. Resident.
A laborer, he worked many years for various road maintenance and construction companies. In the latter stages of his working career, he worked as a manager at the former Max Magee's pub. He will be remembered by friends and family as a multi talented individual noted for his achievements in baseball, basketball and cross country at Garnet Valley High School, who also excelled on the amateur golf and bowling circuits in the greater Philadelphia area. Additionally, Eachus spent a number of years as the lead singer of local area cover band "Outta Hand," entertaining at events across the Delaware Valley. A loyal and loving father, brother, and friend, he spent several years volunteering his time as a coach for his sons' basketball and roller hockey teams. Many of his fondest times were spent vacationing in the summer with family and friends in Fenwick Island, DE.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Donald and sister, Lorraine. He is survived by two sons, Joshua, 26, of Wintersville, OH. and Shane, 23, of Harrisonburg, VA, siblings, brothers, Bud and Warren of Lancaster, PA, Laurence and Steve of Wilmington, DE, and two sisters, Connie Jennings of Wilmington, DE, and Norma Kozarski of Claymont, DE.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 7, 11 AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA where friends may call from 9:30-11 AM. Interment, Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory may be made to The First Tee of Delaware, P.O. Box 419, Rockland, DE 19732
