Notes for George Birdsall Jr. PASSMORE
George B. Passmore of 230 Penn Avenue, Oxford, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 21, in his 73rd year. He was the son of George B. and Elizabeth Broomall Passmore and lived all of his life in Oxford.
The deceased had retired from active business, but was a direct or of the People's Band and a director of the Norristown State Hospital. He was treasurer of the Oxford Cemetery Association, member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge and a member of the Oxford Friends Meeting.
He is survived by his wife, Abby Palmer Passmore, and three sons, Ralph M. George B. Jr., both of Oxford and Chester of Frankford, Two grandchildren, and two brothers, Hanson E. Passmore of Oxford and Norman S. Passmore of Concordville.
Services were held from the William Johnston Funeral Home, Penn Avenue, on Tuesday at 2 P. M. Interment was in Oxford Cemetery."
