Caroline B. Ewing, 77, owner of the 40-acre Bloomfield estate in Villanova, died Sunday at Devon Manor.
She was the daughter of George and Josephine McFadden, who were noted cotton merchants. She was a patron of the arts and a member of the Acorn Club.
Survivors: a daughter, Caroline B. Michaehalles of Florence, Italy; three grandchildren, and a sister.
