Notes for Frank W. WIDDOES
Frank W. Widdoes, 84, of Chester Heights, an World War II Army veteran and former employee of Swarthmore Paper Mill, died April 13 at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
He served in the Army in Europe during World War II.
Mr. Widdoes worked for Swarthmore Paper Mill for many years. He also did farming and grounds keeping in the Chadds Ford area.
Mr. Widdoes hunted, fished and gardened. He was a lifetime member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6613 in Lenni, Pa.
He was the widower of Sara Widdoes, and the brother of the late James Widdoes of Media.
Survivors: Sons, Frank W. of Coatesville, Howard C. Sr. of Elkton, Md. daughters, Kathryn Ann Evans of Trophy Club, Texas, Lois M. Rosa of Tampa, Fla. sister, Emma Roberts of Media 11 grandchildren six great grandchildren longtime companion, D. Evelyn Hicks and her family.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. 4th St., Media.
Visitation: After 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
