John ‘Jack' Joseph Cloud of Kennett Sq.

John "Jack" Joseph Cloud, 75, of Kennett Square, passed away on Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Margaret "Molly" Crawford Cloud, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.
Born in Kennett Square, he was the son of Joseph D. Cloud of Kennett Square and the late Lenore Carnahan Cloud.
Jack and his father owned and operated Cloud Appliances.
Later, he was deputy warden at the Chester County Prison for 25 years, retiring in 1995.
He was an excellent musician and played many instruments including the piano and organ.
He was a past member of the Delaware Musical Society.
He was a member of Clowns of America and White Tops and enjoyed entertaining children with magic tricks and balloon animals.
Jack was a "jack" of all trades. He enjoyed boating on the Elk River at the family summer home in Maryland.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by: one daughter, Sharon R. DiFilippo, and her husband Timothy of Kennett Square; one sister, Louise C. Wallner and her husband Charles of Kennett Square; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Steven; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, at The Presbyterian Church of Kennett Square, 211 S. Broad St., Kennett Square.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m.
Interment will be private at Longwood Cemetery.
