Notes for Robert E. WORRILOW

Robert E. Worrilow Sr., 80, a longtime Upper Chichester resident and Sun Oil refinery retiree, died June 24 at the Hospice Center of Lancaster.
Born in Chester, he lived in the Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester for 80 years. Mr. Worrilow lived with his daughter, Florence, for the last five months. He enjoyed shooting darts, watching his grandsons play football and spending time with his family. He worked as an operator at the Sun Oil Refinery in Marcus Hook for 40 years, retiring in 1984. He served in the Army and was stationed in Korea.
Mr. Worrilow was the widower of Lillian Downes Powell Worrilow, who died in 2004, and the brother of the late Florence E. Worrilow Hall, Lawrence L. Worrilow, Edward J. Worrilow and Charles T. Worrilow.
Survivors: Daughter, Florence M. Worrilow of Lititz, Pa., with whom he lived; sons, Robert E. Worrilow, Jr. of West Babylon, N.Y., Edward A. Worrilow of Wilmington, Del., Charles D. Worrilow of Katy, Tex.; brothers, William F. Worrilow of Media and Raymond R. Worrilow of North East, Md.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, Lower Chichester.
