VIRGINIA R. SUPPLEE
HOMEMAKER, VOLUNTEER, 93 Virginia Reeves Supplee, 93, of Romansville, Chester County, a homemaker who was active in the community, died Thursday at Chester County Hospital.
Mrs. Supplee, who had lived in Romansville since 1951, was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church, where she was active with the Bible-study class.
She also was a member of the Farm Women Association in Chester County; the state, national, Marshallton and Pomona Granges; and the West Bradford Fire Company Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Order of the Amaranth.
Mrs. Supplee was born in West Chester and grew up in Marshallton. She also lived in London Grove and Pocopson before moving to Romansville. She graduated from West Chester High School and the West Chester Normal School, now West Chester University.
Her husband of many years, George E. Supplee Jr., died in 1975.
She is survived by sons William E., George H., Robert S., Richard P., John P. and Peter R.; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. tomorrow at Unionville Presbyterian Church, Wollaston Road, Unionville. A service will be held there at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in London Grove Cemetery.
