Notes for Beth I. MANBY

Beth I. McCann, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.

She was born April 7, 1923, in Ocheyedan, daughter of Charles and Harriet Smith Manby.

She married Neal McCann on Oct. 25, 1942, in Ocheyedan. He died in 1977.

She graduated from Ocheyedan High School and then from Iowa State Teachers College with a teaching degree. She taught and later worked in dietary at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, retiring in 1985.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Merton Manby; and two sisters, Orma Miller and Murnace Pickering.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
