Notes for William Ernest Jr. GOODMAN

PHILADELPHIA, April 26 - WILLIAM ERNEST GOODMAN, JR., President of HARRINGTON & GOODMAN, Inc., tailor trimmings, and consul here for the Siamese Government, died today in his home on RITTENHOUSE Square. His age was 70 .
An alumnus of Germantown Academy, MR. GOODMAN studied textiles in England before joining his father's firm. He served with the first city troop in the Spanish American War and as a major in the military police during the first World War. He was a member of the Cricket and RITTENHOUSE clubs.
He leaves his wife, the former ELIZABETH V. POTTER; a son WILLIAM E. 3rd,of Philadelphia and a daughter MRS. JANE CARNEVALI of Buenos Aires.
