Notes for John Barnes DORRANCE

John Dorrance (1803-1869) was the contractor responsible for digging the Delaware Canal. He also owned Bristol Mills. Dorrance built a magnificent Italianate house at 300 Radcliffe Street that was entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
