Edward was a farmer, who took farm goods to market. He was also a Tax Collector for West Brandywine Twp.,Chester County,Pa. Edward's name also appears as "President" on his Daughter's "Junior Certificate of Chester County Graded Course", West Chester,Pa. in 1907. In later years, Edward managed a little store and gas station,in Chester County,Pa. Edward was of the Quaker faith.
