Notes for John Clyde MALIN
John Clyde 'Jack' Malin of Newtown Square John Clyde 'Jack' Malin, 75, of Newtown Square, died on Sunday, June 26, 2011. Born in Larchmont, he was the son of the late Clyde Evans and Mary Milnamow Malin. Jack was a 1954 graduate of Marple Newtown High School. He worked for Verizon for 37 years, retiring from the Claims Department, and then worked summers at Ridley Creek State Park for the next 12 years. He was a 32nd degree Mason and past president of the Verizon Pioneers. An avid world traveler, Jack's retirement travels took him to four continents. He also enjoyed photography and won an honorable mention in a National Geographic photo contest. Jack is survived by two daughters, Janne Ferguson and husband Herb of West Chester, and Lea Buchanan and husband William of Blandon; two granddaughters, Lydia and Johanna Goslin; and a grandson, Miles Buchanan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stan Malin. Services will be private.
