Philip T. Buxton, 75 A retired Honeywell Engineer Philip T. Buxton, 75, died July 2, 2011. Born in Collingdale, PA, to the late Philip J. and Anna (nee Burns). Philip graduated from Drexel University in 1958. Philip was enrolled in the ROTC Army program and did his co-op work for Raytheon in Framingham, MA. He also worked as a Summer Vacation Relief Technician for WCAU in Philadelphia. Phil worked most of his career as a Electrical Engineer for Honeywell, traveling to projects across the US and overseas as well. He retired after 30 years at age 55. Phil was an avid boater and model train collecter, but he mostly enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Jane, who together they purchased a large piece of land and build a French Provincial home, doing most of the work themselves. Pre-deceased by his wife of over 50 years Jane Pike Buxton (2011). Survivors: Cousins Deb Walker, Gerald and Kenneth Jr., Upcraft, Dorothy Andes, David and Henry Burns, and Marjorie Hoban; many other relatives. Service: Relatives and Friends are invited to his memorial service Thursday July 21 at 3 PM in the J. Nelson Rigby Funeral Home, 1 W. Baltimore Ave., Media. Calling 2 to 2:45 PM in the funeral home. Interment Private.
