Notes for Dorothy J. LEE
Dorothy (Lee) Wickersham, 86, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Peter Becker Community, Harleysville, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene P. Wickersham Sr.
Born October 12, 1924 in Chestertown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Esther Lee.
She was a member of the Wilmington Church of the Brethren and a school secretary for the Newark Special School District from which she retired after many years of service.
She is survived by her son, Paul Wickersham and his wife Judith of Worcester, PA; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Wickersham, Jonathan Wickersham, Katie Rhoads and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her siblings; Vincent, Nelson, Allen, and Franklin Lee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, March 23, at 2 pm from the Grace Lawn Memorial Chapel, DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends may call from 1:30-2 pm. Burial will be at Grace Lawn Memorial Park.
