Notes for Leslie KING
Leslie ""Bud'' King, 66, of Seaford, Del., a retired electrical engineer and former Delaware County resident, died Jan. 30 at home.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., Mr. King was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy Wilkens King. He was graduated from Widener University, Chester, with a degree in electrical engineering.
Mr. King was employed by the DuPont Co. as an electrical engineer for 32 years and retired from the Seaford, Del. plant in 1991.
A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, Mr. King belonged to the Virgil, Wilson Post 4961, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Nanticoke Post 6, American Legion of Seaford. He also belonged to the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Elks Lodge 2458 in Seaford and Ionic Lodge 31, AF&AM of Newport, Del., the Delaware Consistory Scottish Rite and Nur Temple, AAONMS of Wilmington, Del.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Hubbard King; two sons, Theodore C. King of Hawaii and Timothy C. King of Portland, Ore.; a daughter, Christine T. Fiori of Seaford; two stepsons, Glen R. Odor and Todd Odor and a stepdaughter, Diane O. Black, all of Seaford; two brothers, Robert King and Raymond King, both of Media; a sister, Dorothy K. Wood of Earleville, Md. and four grandchildren.
He also was the husband of Pauline Scull King who died in June, 1989.
