Anna Hartshome, graduated from Bryn Mawr College with the degree of A. B. She taught Latin at Westtown School 1912-13 and in 1913-14 taught English at Tsuda College in Japan. From 1925-55 she was editor erf the "Westtonian" and from 1927-55 was Westtown Alumni Secretary. Both she and her husband are active members of the Society of Friends in which he is a recognized minister. Mrs. Brown was an overseer 1921-46 and an elder from 1946. For several year she was also recording clerk of Philadelphia Yearly Mtg.
