Bertha E. Yarnall, dies at 75
Mrs. Bertha E. Yarnall of 1126 Brown St. died today [01 23 1956] after an illness of nine months. Born in Chester she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Taintor, former 6th Ward constable. Her late husband Howard G. Yarnall, was employed by the city as a police clerk for several years. She is survived by a son, Clyde G., at home; a grandson, Richard; and three sisters, Mrs. Carol Goodman of Llanerch, Mrs. Caroline Taintor of Ridley Park, and sister Thecla of Syracuse, N.Y. Funeral sevices will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the Ray F. Imschweiler funeral home, 1600 Edgmont av., with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday night.
