Notes for George Sharpless PYLE
GEORGE S. PYLE, 87, of Old Pennell Road, Village Green, died Saturday in Crozer Hospital after an illness of six weeks.
Mr. Pyle was born in Thornton and had lived in Delaware Courty all his life. He was a milk dealer in Boothwyn for 30 years, retiring in 1942. His first wife, the former Harriet Startz, died in 1915 and his second wife, the former Mary Ellen Butler, died in 1M1.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Evans of Village Green, Mrs. Natalie Jones of Marcus Hook and Mrs. Hilda Fritz of Boothwyn; three sons, Wayne of Embreeviile, Pa.; Milton of West Chester and Leon of Chester; one brother, Arthur of Thornton 14 grandchildren and 29-great
grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the George W. Maxwell funeral home, 1834 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn. Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery.
