Notes for James W. REGESTER

James W. Regester, 88, of Quarryville, Lancaster County, formerly of Aston, died Oct. 4 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.
Born in West Grove, Chester County, Mr. Regester lived in Aston before moving to Quarryville four years ago. A 1939 graduate of Kennett Square High School, he worked as a lab technician for duPont de Nemours and Co. in Wilmington, Del.
Mr. Regester served in the Army Air Corps as a technical sergeant and radio operator, flying 33 missions in Northern Europe and England during World War II.
He was a member of Faith Reform Presbyterian Church in Quarryville and a former member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in the Concordville section of Concord, where he served as a Sunday school teacher.
A family man, Mr. Regester was the husband of Marian Rothwell Regester, who died in 1974, the father of the late James Regester, and the son of the late Earl and Emma Parke Regester.
Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Sara Jane Bigger Regester; daughter, Judith Rinker of West Virginia; five grandchildren; nine grandchildren.
Service: 10:45 a.m. Friday, Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville.
Burial: Graveside Service 2:30 p.m. Friday, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills section of Concord.
