Loretta Dolores Gunson Darlington, 97, of West Chester died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her home.
She was the wife of the late George W. Darlington.
Born in Philadelphia, Loretta was the daughter of the late Matthew Vincent Gunson and the late Loretta Veronica Roney Gunson.
For thirty years Loretta worked as an office administrator for the Juvenile Probation Office of Chester County.
She was a 1930 graduate of West Philadelphia High School.
She was a devoted member of St. Agnes Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Darlington Brown, of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Ruth M. Darlington, of West Chester. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Thomas, Tina, Michelle and Jeffrey and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Grace Ann Darlington.
