M. Irwin 'Irky' Yearsley of West Chester M. Irwin "Irky" Yearsley, 66, of West Chester, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 of a lengthy illness. Enjoying a long marriage, he was the husband of Barbara A. Ranck Yearsley. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late J. Willis Yearsley, Jr. and the late Grace R. Smith Yearsley. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Irky was co-owner of M.S. Yearsley& Sons of West Chester. He enjoyed his cottage in Charlestown, Maryland and lived to take the boats out for a ride. Irky was an avid line and partner dancing enthusiast. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael Ranck (Linda) of North East, Md., Jeannie Mezger Roland of Glenmoore, Tammy Hayman of Oxford, Tim Yearsley of Coatesville, Jesse Yearsley (Sarah) of Coatesville and grandchildren, Sam, Shenandoah, Allison, Trinity, Benjamin, Jacob and Logan. Also, he is survived by a step-mother, Fran Yearsley, brother, J. Willis Yearsley, III and a sister, Denise Yearsley (Michael). Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service, 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, 410 N. Church St., West Chester.
