Notes for Marjorie HANF
Marjorie H. Marshall, daughter of predeceased parents, William and Margaret Harlan-Hanf, died August 17, 2010.
Marjorie was a graduate of Wilmington High School and the University of Pennsylvania Elementary School Division. Volunteer work included Travelers Aid Society, West End Neighborhood House, Female Benevolent Society, American Friends Service Committee, Delaware Art Museum and Treasurer of Wilmington Flower Market.
Her dramatic talents led her to Wilmington Drama League and radio work for Junior League. She was a member of Wilmington Country Club and Buck Hill Falls Golf Club. Marjorie taught at Wilmington public schools and Wilmington Friends School.
Hobbies included art, handwork such as needlepoint, quilting and music – piano and organ.
Marjorie was an active church member at Wilmington Friends Meeting.
Husband Albert, sons Jay and Craig, and daughter Penny predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Kathy, granddaughter Christy Drabin and husband Michael, grandson Jake and wife Allison, and great-grandchildren Julianna, Will, Jack and Mia.
The family is honoring her request for a private family burial service only.
