Emma U. D'Annunzio, 89, of West Chester, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Brandywine Hall Care Center, West Chester.
She was the wife of the late Victor L. D'Annunzio Sr., who passed away in 1979.
Born in Edgmont, she was the daughter of the late Walter Elwin Urey and the late Caroline Garrett (Hoopes).
Emma was a homemaker, and was born in the plantation house at Ridley Creek State Park where her father was a farmer for many years.
She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, gardening and crafts.
She is survived by her son, Victor L. D'Annunzio Jr., husband of Margaret of West Chester; daughter, Louise A. Gray, wife of Charles of Glenside; sister, Kathryn Sume of West Chester; grandchildren, Jill, Derek, Scott and Jason; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Hailie, Ryan and Jack.
