Notes for James STEVENSON

March 6, 1801 purchased of Moses Quick the farm on the road from Marshall's Corner to Woodsville. Shortly before his death, James had removed to Pennington. On the evening of Dec. 30, 1839, he visited his old friend Roswell Howe, a prominent teacher residing in Pennington, and on his arrival at home he complained of feeling unwell and expired immediately.
