LONG NECK - Amy D. Hannum of Long Neck, formerly of Claymont, died of heart failure Wednesday, May 23, 2001, in Harrison House nursing home, Georgetown. She was 77.
Mrs. Hannum was born in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Leroy Garrett and Viola Thomas Garrett.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hannum was one of the founding members of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hannum, in 1994.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James A. Hannum Jr.; a son, Richard J. Hannum of Wilmington; a sister, Dorothy Newquist of Wallingford, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Jennifer J. Hannum of California.
