Notes for Myrtie Bell SHOWALTER

Final Rites Held for Mrs. Wm. Starr. Mrs. Myrtie Bell Starr, a resident of the Belmont community since 1891, died in the Donley Hospital in Kingman Monday, March 8, at the age of 82. She was born in Altoona, Kansas, September 25, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Showalter. She was married to William J. Starr in Belmont July 16, 1902. She was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were held in the Belmont Methodist Church Wednesday, March 10, with Re. James Hlad, pastor of the Methodist Church in Norwich, officiating. Burial was made in the Belmont Cemetery. Survivors include the widower of the home near Belmont; one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Fitzgerald of Arlington, Virginia; one sister, Mrs. H.O. Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
