JOSEPH CLARENCE KEELER MAHON, 83, of Runnemede, formerly of Cherry Hill, died March 19 at Newcomb Hospital, Vineland.
Mr. Mahon had been president of and active in the Cherry Hill Eastern Little League for more than 20 years, retiring in 1987. The Little League field in the Kingston Estates section of Cherry Hill was renamed the Keeler
Mahon Field in his honor. He was an insurance underwriter for more than 50 years, associated with United States Casualty in Philadelphia and later with the Orion Group of Hartford, Conn., in its Philadelphia offices. He belonged to Grace Episcopal Church in Haddonfield. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving with the mechanized cavalry in Europe. He resided in Runnemede for the last 20 years.
Survivors: his wife, Hannah "Nancy"; three sons, K. Carter Mahon of Marlton, George R. of Blenheim and Charles R. of Dunkirk, Md.; a daughter, Tam of Vero Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, and four sisters.
Services: funeral, 11 a.m. Saturday, Grace Episcopal Church, 19 E. Kings Highway, Haddonfield; burial, private. Holl-Murphy Funeral Home, Haddonfield.
