Notes for Lawrence Ashton BRACKIN
BLAIN - Lawrence Ashton "Andy" Brackin, 75, of Blain RR #1, died Friday in Harrisburg Hospital.
Andy was born January 13, 1930 in Landenburg, Chester County, to the late Raymond A. and Edna Pyle Brackin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia E. George Brackin in March 1997; a son, Gary A. Brackin, who died in January 1996; and two brothers, Raymond Brackin and Harold Brackin, Sr.
Surviving are four children, Vickie Lynn Salyers of Roan Mountain, TN, Steven W. Brackin of Aurora Ontario, Canada, Ronald G. Brackin of Loysville and Judy A. Maxfield of Charlestown, MD; a brother, Robert Brackin of Kemblesville, PA; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Andy was a retired self employed mushroom farmer and co-owned the former Andy's Kountry Kitchen in New Germantown with his late wife, Pat.
Services will be held at 1: 30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6th, in the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, with the Rev. Robert Koch officiating. Burial will be in the Blain Cemetery.
