Notes for Helen M. HOOPES
Helen M. (Hoopes) Kane, died on Monday, March 8, 2010 at her residence in Palmetto, Fla.
She was the wife of the late John ‘Jack’ Kane. Helen was born in Norristown on Jan. 16, 1921, and was a daughter of the late Walter C. and Helen (Parker) Hoopes.
She was a graduate of the former Norristown High School and was a homemaker.
Prior to moving to Florida she was a resident of West Oak Street in Norristown, and was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown.
She is survived by two sons: Edward W. Kane of Concord, Mass. and Robert C. Kane, MD of Washington, DC and Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will not be a viewing.
