Notes for Laura M. COX

Laura M. Cox was graduated from the West Chester High School in 1900 and from the West Chester Business School in 1901. After her marriage she had much experience in club and civic work and has served as president of various organizations. She was one of the incorporators of the New Century Club in West Chester. After the death of her husband she became a landscape architect and was in the nursery business, later was with the National Analysts in Philadelphia, Pa. In 1964 Mrs. Miller was active in the garden and women's clubs and on the board of the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra. Her interests include art and she has sold several paintings. Other activities indude work in the American Red Cross, Federated Women's Club and the American Friends Service.
