Notes for Thomas Harold III JACKSON

Thomas H. Jackson Sr. of High Falls, N.Y. Thomas H. Jackson Sr., 87, of Meadow Court, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston, N.Y. He was born in West Chester, Pa. on August 21, 1924, a son of the late T. Harold and Nancy Penneyor Jackson. A High Falls resident since 1995, he had previously resided in Salamanca, N.Y. He was a graduate of Penn State University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Jackson had been self-employed as a real estate agent and appraiser until his retirement. He was a member of the Community Church of High Falls, Kingston Lodge #10 F.&A.M., Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Rotary Club of Little Valley, N.Y. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann L. Jackson; two daughters, Susan J. Wilson, of High Falls and Marcia Milanowski, of Peach Tree City, Ga. and a son, Thomas H. Jackson, Jr., of High Falls. He is also survived by a brother, Raymond Jackson, of Lewis, Del.; five grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Rev. Charles Stickley will officiate. Cremation was at Wiltwyck Cemetery in Kingston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 3 p.m. prior to the service. A Military Honors Service by American Legion Post 1219 will follow the memorial service.
