Notes for Helen J. FETTERS
Helen F. Harner of Downingtown Helen F. Harner, 98, of Downingtown, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank D. Harner, with whom she had shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1996. Born in Upper Darby, Helen was the daughter of the late George W. and Hannah J. Leighton Fetters. She was a member of the Delaware County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the Downingtown United Methodist Church. Helen enjoyed cooking, sewing and oil painting. Mrs. Harner is survived by her children, F. Daniel Harner (Mary Frances) and Shirley J. Harner; a brother, George Fetters; two grandchildren, Gretchen Sicoli (Bryan) and Thomas Harner; a great-granddaughter, Abigail Sicoli and a very close friend, Joanne Scattergood. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
