Mildred A. "Millie" Talley Johnsen, 80, of Norwood, a longtime crossing guard in Sharon Hill, died July 3 in Norwood.
Born in Fernwood, Mrs. Johnsen resided in Sharon Hill for 54 years. She was educated in the Upper Darby School District and worked as a crossing guard for 30 years.
Mrs. Johnsen was a member of Sharon Hill Women's Club, GFWC Leisure Club, Sharon Hill American Legion Women's Auxiliary, Norwood VFW 7213 Women's Auxiliary and Sharon Hill Fire Co.
Mrs. Johnsen's husband of 55 years, Bernard S. "Beau" Johnsen Jr., died before her.
Survivors: Children, Bernard Johnsen III of Glenolden, Thomas A. Johnsen of Norwood, DonnaLynn Theveny of Folsom, Ridley Township, John E. Johnsen of Aston brother, Walter E. Talley of Fernwood 15 grandchildren five great-grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield.
Visitation: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial: Fernwood Cemetery, Upper Darby.
