Notes for John F. III MORAN
John (Jay) F. Moran III, 64, of West Chester, formerly of Drexel Hill, died peacefully at the Chester County Hospital on Sept. 9, 2009.
John was the beloved husband of Betsie (nee Hibberd).
John was an auto mechanic by trade, however, he was a motorcycle and NASCAR enthusiast who enjoyed boating and tinkering with cars.
Jay is also survived by his loving sisters Judy, Susie, Anita, Katie Moran, Jinny Jo Lumley and brother Mike (Susan) Moran.
He was the beloved son of the late Dr. John F. Moran, Jr. M.D., and Virginia (nee Mendenhall). Also a brother-in-law to Jo and Dave Dougherty and an uncle to many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Jay's Life Celebration Services on Monday, Sept. 21, from the Spencer T. Videon Life Celebration Home, 400 Shadeland Ave., Drexel Hill, where family and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
