Notes for Frank Leedom LOBB

Frank Leedom Lobb, 80, a lifelong resident of Ridley Township, died Aug. 16 at his home in Cape May, N.J.
Born in Morton, Mr. Lobb worked for 43 years for PECO, retiring as an aerial line supervisor.
A four-sport letterman and All-Delco athlete, Mr. Lobb played football, basketball, baseball and ran track and field at Ridley High School.
He was inducted into the Delco Sports Hall of Fame and the Ridley Township Old Timers Hall of Fame.
Mr. Lobb also loved to golf and tend to his vegetable garden.
A former member of Church of the Atonement, Mr. Lobb was past president and former coach on the Kedron Youth Association.
He was the son of the late Samuel E. Lobb and the late Ethel M. Magnier. He was the brother of the late Alice M. Zittle, Mary A. Urbanski, Harry E. Lobb, Earnest E. Lobb and Ethel M. Lobb.
Survivors: Son, Michael D. “Mickey” Lobb of Ocean Pines, Md.; daughter, Karen D. Wallace of Avondale; sisters, Grace M. Reid, Dorothy M. Abramczyk and Margaret L. Preston; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
