Thomas G. Hallett
Alexandria, VA. - Thomas G. Hallett, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Fairfax Hospital, Virginia. He was 62.
Mr. Hallett was born in Wilmington, Delaware on May 13, 1956 to Margaret Smith Hallett and the late Samuel Hallett. He graduated from Christiana High School and attended North Texas State University in Denton, TX and Millersville College in Millersville, PA.
He began his career as an electrical engineer at Honeywell in Dallas, TX and held several positions with in the HVAC contracting firms, most recently as a senior project manager at Conquest-Solutions in Greenbelt, MD. Mr. Hallett enjoyed restoring antique tractors and other farm machinery, and woodworking. He loved to take things apart to see how they worked and could fix just about anything, he was truly a gifted person and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel G. Hallett.
Mr Hallett is survived by his mother, Margaret Hallett of Dover; sisters, Amy Hallett and Elizabeth Sparks; his partner, Joyce Webb; nieces and nephew, Jeremy Cox, Natalie Sparks and Karen Bonavita; great nephew, Paul Bonavita.
Memorial services will be held 2PM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, DE.
